Your workspace will remain unchanged

The previous operator of your UNICORN shared office has filed for bankruptcy. In order to secure the Moritzplatz location and ongoing operations, a service provider acting on behalf of GSG Berlin will take over the management of the premises and services at short notice.

For you as a tenant, nothing will change for the time being: your workspaces will remain usable, access is guaranteed, and the most important services will continue without interruption.

GSG Berlin, one of the largest providers of commercial space in the capital, has stood for reliability and stability for around 60 years. Together, we will ensure that the location continues to be operated and developed in the future—for a seamless transition and long-term use.

What does the insolvency of the previous operator UNICORN mean for my lease?

Your existing rental agreement with your previous provider is affected by the insolvency. The insolvency administrator will inform you. To ensure a seamless transition, we are working to provide all existing tenants with a new, legally binding contract offer from an operator on behalf of GSG Berlin at short notice. For you, nothing will change in terms of daily use for the time being—your rooms will remain usable as usual. Everything will be better!

Will there be any interruptions to operations or infrastructure (internet, cleaning, access, etc.)?

No. We strive to ensure seamless operation, including all essential services such as internet, access systems, cleaning, and community offerings. Our goal is to ensure a stable transition without downtime or restrictions.

Can I continue to use my space as usual?

Yes, absolutely. Your booked rooms and/or desks will continue to be available to you without restriction. Access, Wi-Fi, and all other services will remain unchanged.

Will the terms and conditions or prices change?

All previous conditions will remain in place during the transition period. We will submit a new contract offer to you in the future, focusing on fair, transparent prices and a long-term perspective. Our offers are based on actual needs and offer attractive flexibility.

What are GSG Berlin’s specific plans for the site?

We want to continue developing this location as a modern workspace – with stable infrastructure, efficient services, and attractive additional offerings. As one of Berlin’s largest commercial space providers, we have over 60 years of experience and are committed to a long-term perspective – for you as well.
